"Its challenge time! This weeks challenge is sponsored by Sideshow Stamps! Our inspiration this week is a little different than usual, I took these photos at a local large cat rescue, they have these amazing peacocks just walking free around the grounds! Isnt this one amazing! I was so inspired by the colors I had to do a challenge with them. Now, I know what you are thinking, owls arent blue, well, I didnt have a peacock stamp and I really wanted to use the turquoise and lime so blue owls it is :) Our challenge colors are turquoise, lime and black, if you want to add in the other blues and greens of the peacock that is fine too but has to have those three! Heres the rules, if you would like to enter please become a follower of my blog, please post the inspiration photo and the link back here, only one entry per person and please make something with as close to the challenge colors as possible because if it is something that doesnt go with the theme, the post is old or the link takes me to something totally different it wont count! Also, all of my challenges are chosen at random, it is far too hard for me to pick a winner so everyone has a fair chance! Now that all the details are handled, are you ready for the prize? "

We love getting Christmas cards throughout December, so we thought it would be fun to post all of the Leg Lamp Cards and Crafts that we've received in the past. As a bit of repose after all of the Christmas madness...

Oldies but Goodies ~ Cards by Sideshow Stamps Rubber Stamps

Here are a bunch of cards I've made over the past 10 years. I've completely forgotten some of these techniques and that I once had the time and creativity to do more than just stamp, cut and tape! hee hee :)

Beautiful and Quirky Rubber Stamps - Sideshow Stamps in a UK Magazine!!

Here are two recent articles from the July and August issue of the UK Magazine "Cardmaking and Papercraft" that feature cards, made with our stamps, by our friend Wendy Austin Rawlings! The first article features our Pop Art Owl Mate, Retro Monkey, and 1970's Owl Border rubber stamps. Wendy gives AWESOME tips about card layout and sketches. Click on each image to read the article.

Another write up about us! :)

My painting has been mentioned on this wedding blog!!!

We had the pleasure of attending our great friend's wedding back in April, and I am honored to have done a painting of them for the wedding. This was a most fabulous event at the Santa Monica Pier and Carousel. Magical and full of whimsy, with a carnival theme down to the gum drop trees; lollipop centerpieces; rides on the carousel; and churros, hot dogs and cotton candy served out of old fashioned vendor carts...

Check out this blog for more about the fabulous wedding... :)
